The Soccer Weeks and Days organised during the May holidays were very successful. After previous editions, the Brazilian Soccer Week this time took place at three different locations, namely Amstelveen Heemraad, ASWH (Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht) and S.V. Zandvoort. Besides that, there were also a number of new events on the calender. The N.E.C. 5 Days of Soccer (located at the official training complex of the professional football club), the De Graafschap 3 Days of Soccer (also on the fields of the club) and the ADO Den Haag 2 Days of Soccer with SVC ’08 in Wassenaar. The participants of all the Soccer Weeks and Days were very enthusiastic, and talented!
During the Brazilian Soccer Week with Amstelveen Heemraad, ASWH and S.V. Zandvoort, the young talents were trained according to the philosophy of one of the best football countries and host of the upcoming World Cup: Brazil. Throughout the week, several different trainings and exercices were on the programme, the kids learnt passing like Neymar, dribbling like Kaká and ball control like Dani Alves.
On the fields of N.E.C. the participants could train like a true pro during the N.E.C. 5 Days of Soccer. This new concept drew the attention of numerous young black-green-red fans. They gained a lot of football knowledge throughout the course of the week.
Another event during the May holidays was the De Graafschap 3 Days of Soccer, which also took place at the official training venue of the club. Here, the future football stars could briefly feel like a real ‘Superboer’ as they were trained by youth coaches of De Graafschap.
Finally, SVC ’08 in Wassenaar was the host for the ADO 2 Days of Soccer. Throughout this new event, the kids had the possibility to feel like a green and yellow pro, and they enjoyed that very much!
